headshotI’m currently the Manager for Online and Instructional Technology at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. Together with a team of wonderful academic technologists, I work with faculty to integrate technology into teaching and learning in effective and innovative ways. I also work closely to further Clark’s growing catalog of online and blended courses.

Previously, I was an Instructional Design Coordinator at University of Wisconsin – Green Bay where I work with faculty to help them become just as comfortable and effective in the online classroom as in the traditional one. I work with new-to-online faculty and experienced online instructors as they learn about research-based practices of design and delivery.

Prior to this I’ve been lucky to be involved in education in a number of ways including as the Coordinator of a tutoring center, an English language teacher in Japan and a Director and Counselor at a computer/athletics day camp in Washington DC. I’ve supported all of these adventures with a Masters in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from St. Xavier University in Chicago.

In a former life (before my career change) I received my Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland and worked in programming in Dublin and India.

As my work history shows, I love to travel and while originally from Ireland, I’ve loved living all over the world including London, Washington DC, Baroda, Nagoya and Green Bay. When my husband and I travel for pleasure, we love to experience new culturesĀ and tasty food.

When at home, we enjoy cooking, biking, playing board games and spending time with our four pugs.
